LLŶN PENINSULA
Whatever your interest, the Llŷn Peninsula is blessed with places to visit or things you may wish to do during your stay here at Tyn Ddol.
Tyn Ddol is ideally situated for those who wish to come and explore the Llŷn Peninsula. Located no the north western coastline, we are approximately 6 miles from the village of Aberdaron, 7 miles from Morfa Nefyn (and Porthdinllaen) and some 14 miles from the market town of Pwllheli.
The Llŷn is designated an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ on the strength of its exceptional coastline of coves, headlands, beaches and bays rich in wildlife.
Today, they are all linked by the Llŷn Coastal Path which forms part of the All-Wales Coast Path. The breathtaking views you will encounter along the path are reason enough to want to visit the Llŷn.
There is an extensive highway network to help you find your way around the Llŷn that is mainly single carriageway roads. To reach some of the more remote areas and beaches, you will need to navigate your way through narrow country lanes and possibly farm tracks, so please take the upmost care.
Public transport is limited from the village of Llangwnnadl but you always have the option of the Llŷn Coastal Bus, which provides journeys right across the Llŷn.
If you’ve never visited the Llŷn before or returning from a previous visit, why not make Tyn Ddol your next holiday destination.
